Makyo [2012] Purnima (Dakini)

Japanese Dakini's label head Gio Makyo has finally released another accomplished work on the field of ethnic electronic fusion, this time with a full band added with deep dub-bass pulses and stylish production.

I've been playing the last track Nebusoku everywhere, and it just oozes magic and peace to the surroundings.

Inbetween Makyo's excellent 2005 album Swara Mandala and this latest, we've only heard occasional compilation tracks and remixes (like the one for Natacha Atlas' River Man). Here's one pearl that was originally released on otherwise-not-really-doing-it-for-me comp Mandala Mirror on Celestial Dragon.
